Born on 1st June 1988, Matt Moss became obsessed with “everything that goes fast” by the time he could talk and comprehend motorcycles and cars. The future motocross star was born in Sussex, but raised all the way Down Under in New South Whales (NSW), Australia.
Very similar to the early story of fellow rider, Carey Hart, Matt started to learn riding motorcycles by the age of 4. Even at such a young age, he began attracting attention on the track for being talented and with a promising future.
One of Matt’s biggest supporters has been his father, Gregory Moss, who started up the Moss Institute of Motocross. He and his brother, Jake are both active coaches in their spare time when they aren’t performing stunts and climbing the motocross charts.
In his spare time, Matt likes to participate in other adventurous sports that include surfing, wake boarding and of coursing, riding his BMX bike.
Down Under, Matt is seen as a big star and one of his country’s leading sportsmen. Though motocross isn’t considered as the top sport, mostly because of cricket and Aussie football.
Two of his biggest achievements include winning the titles for the 2009 Australian National Motocross Pro Lites Champion and Australasian Supercross Pro Lites Champion.
Apart from these two wins, he has also come first place in Stroke Supercross Summer Nationals and the Stadium Motocross Series.

He created history when he finished first place on all 5 rounds of the series, getting back-to-back Supercross titles and his fourth consecutive Australian title.
Here’s hoping the world gets to know more about this amazing sportsman and let’s see him leading the international Motocross Championships for his country.
