Popular X Games competitor Axell Hodges took to his social media accounts on July 11, 2017 to announce that he will not be participating in the 2017 X Games owing to a practice injury. He suffered a broken right radius owning to a practice crash and will thus not be seen at the circuit of the 2017 X Games which are slated to happen in Minneapolis from July 15 – 16.
With proven skills in Quarter Pipe Big Air and a silver medal in Best Whip 2016, this is a tough pill to swallow for the talented 21 year old dirt rider. He shared on his Instagram account that he is already headed to surgery today – wishing you a speedy recovery Axell!
